30-MINUTE CONSULT

NEED AN INTERIOR DESIGNER CONSULTATION THAT FITS IN YOUR LUNCH BREAK?

Book a 30-minute consult with Taylor Ferrell and get instant clarity from anywhere in the country.

SOMETIMES YOU JUST NEED THIRTY MINUTES WITH THE RIGHT INTERIOR DESIGNER

Maybe it's the backsplash that almost works, but something about it is nagging at you. Maybe your contractor sent you a question about the plumbing rough-in, and you don't know what to tell him. Maybe you've been going back and forth between the same two cabinet hardware finishes for so long that both options have completely lost meaning.

Bring it to the call. All of it. Thirty minutes on Zoom with someone who's been inside enough kitchens and bathrooms to look at your specific situation and tell you, with confidence, what to do next.

INVESTMENT — $300

Available via Zoom to homeowners anywhere in the US.

INTERIOR DESIGNER | SAN LUIS OBISPO & BEYOND

HERE'S WHAT ONE INTERIOR DESIGNER CONSULTATION CALL CAN ACTUALLY SOLVE

  • The countertop that's been "almost decided" for six weeks and counting

  • Whether that zellige tile is actually as easy to clean as everyone on Instagram claims

  • The cabinet color that looked perfect at the showroom but cursed in your kitchen lighting

  • Whether the tile your husband vetoed is actually worth fighting for (it might be)

  • Whether you can keep your existing floors and still make the new kitchen look like you planned it that way

  • The finish combination that works in your head, but you're not quite brave enough to commit to

  • Whether your floor tile should run horizontal, vertical, or diagonal, and why nobody warned you this would matter

  • Whether your backsplash is doing too much, not enough, or exactly right (there is an answer)

  • Whether your kitchen layout actually works or just looks like it does on paper

REAL INTERIOR DESIGN TIPS FOR YOUR SPECIFIC HOME

My job on this call isn't to impress you with design vocabulary. It's to look at your actual space, understand how your family actually uses it, and give you a straight answer you can act on before the end of the day. No "it depends." No sending you off to think about it more. You've already been thinking about it. That's why you booked the call.

Whether you're working on a Central Coast kitchen or calling in from across the country, the answer is built around your specific space, not someone else's.

HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR INTERIOR DESIGNER CONSULTATION CALL

Pick a time and get on the calendar.

Two minutes. Done. You'll get everything you need in the confirmation email.

Bring everything you've been overthinking.

Every photo, every sample, every "does this work??" screenshot. The more you bring to the call, the more helpful I can be with my answer.

Get on the call and let's figure it out.

You'll leave knowing what to do and feeling noticeably better about your renovation than you did this morning.

FROM SOMEONE WHO BOOKED THE CALL AND IS REALLY GLAD SHE DID

“I was so appreciative to have a Zoom call with Taylor about our downstairs home redesign. We have been working with an architect and something about the layout did not seem right. Taylor listened to my concerns and helped me navigate all the options to create a design to perfectly suite our way of living. Taylor expertise in design was evident, suggesting creative solutions I hadn't considered that maximized our space.”

 Questions We Hear Before Booking

  • Yes, and we'd put money on it. Thirty minutes is enough to settle the countertop debate that's been going on for two months, get a clear answer on a layout that doesn't feel right, or finally tell your contractor what tile you're going with. Come in with a specific question, and you'll leave with a specific answer.

  • You're welcome to book another call whenever a new decision comes up. A lot of clients use this as a running resource throughout their renovation, checking in when something new comes up or when the next round of decisions starts stacking up. Think of it as having a designer in your back pocket for the moments that actually need one.

  • Yes. This is a Zoom call, so location doesn't matter. Whether you're looking for an interior designer in San Luis Obispo or calling in from Florida, the call works exactly the same way. If you're local to California's Central Coast and your project needs more than a conversation, Design Day, or Full Service Design might be the better fit.

  • Mostly just your photos and your question. If you have floor plans or inspiration images, bring those too. Before we meet, you'll have the opportunity to upload everything directly through the booking system, so I can come prepared and we can hit the ground running. The more context I have walking in, the further we get in thirty minutes. But there's no wrong way to show up. (And if you have questions beforehand, you can always reach us at studio@saltkitchenandbath.com.)

  • The call is the deliverable. There's no follow-up document or recap, so come ready to take notes. You'll leave with clear direction and specific answers you can act on immediately. If you need a more documented handoff, Design Day includes a full PDF recap you can send straight to your contractor.

  • No. This is a working call, and we spend the whole thirty minutes on your actual question. If, in the end, it's clear that your project needs more than a conversation, I'll tell you that honestly, but there's no agenda beyond helping you figure out what to do next.

  • Absolutely. A lot of people book this call specifically because they're not sure whether they need Full Service, Design Day, or just a nudge in the right direction. Thirty minutes is plenty of time to figure out where you are in your project and what kind of help actually makes sense.

  • Google gives you every possible answer for every possible kitchen. This call gives you one specific answer for your specific kitchen, from someone who can actually see what you're working with. That's a different thing entirely.
